Sunday, May 5 at 10 a. m., brings new hope to the Phoenix community. Greater Hope Christian Church will open the doors for its first worship service. Pastor and founder Tyron J. Ivy, and the congregation invite everyone to experience this church opening.
Pastor Ivy believes Greater Hope stands as a reminder of God’s intent of peace and prosperity where we strive through Christ Jesus to be a ministry of help and inspiration to all people – where we teach purpose and destiny to assist in Living, Leading and Loving for today and tomorrow. Greater Hope’s Mission is to equip souls with the knowledge that hope is not a human effort but a divine revelation of God. Through worship, sound teaching and moving of the Holy Spirit, Greater Hope Christian Church will be an example of “Hope in Action” to our community.
Pastor Ivy attended DePaul University in Chicago. After graduating from college, he met and married and moved to Phoenix in 2001. Pastor Ivy and his wife united with Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church where Bishop Alexis A. Thomas is the Sr. Pastor.
Pastor Ivy served in various capacities and was the Elder of Pastoral Care, where he led and had direct oversight of nine ministries vital to the Pilgrim Rest membership. Now he has Bishop’s blessing to continue God’s work in Northwest Phoenix.
Pastor Ivy and Elect Lady Jenoia Ivy and the entire Greater Hope Church Family want you to share their vision beginning Sunday, May 5. The church is located at 13002 N. 33rd Avenue, the corner of North 33rd Avenue and Sweetwater in Phoenix, 85029.
